Palm Sunday is a momentous day which commemorates Jesus’s arrival into Jerusalem. At the commencement of the holy week, Palm leaves will be distributed in the church on Palm Sunday.
Every year, we used to weave blessed palm leaves into beautiful crosses, braids and tombs to adorn our home. They will be kept until next Ash Wednesday as a sacramental. It’s exciting to see people in and around the Church engaged in the art of weaving palm leaves besides turning it into beautiful crosses.
Hosanna!! Blessed is He who comes in the name of The Lord!! (John 12:13)
